Logo design
For my project I decided to use Canva. I selected the blue sun/star shape as both a symbol of earth but also a badge of protection like you would see on a sheriff. I selected the green line as an indication of both motion through earth but also of inequality, and the steps taken by migrant families to become acclimated. I made a simple line drawing of a silhouette of a mother and child. It could be interpreted in several ways. I enjoyed this process. I am a guardian to a migrant child and am passionate about this issue. The blue is 'vivid indigo' #1800ad, the green is 'grass green' #7ed957 and yellowish gold is #feae1a.
Hi Mila, I really love the combination of lines, shapes, and colors you used! The yellowish gold and vivid indigo look so good together and it looks perfect for a summer t-shirt. I also think the topic you chose makes the piece even more meaningful, and the symbols really match your message. Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteHi Mila, This feels really powerful and intentional, and the symbolism comes through so clearly. I love how the badge shape, the movement line, and the figures all work together without feeling crowded, and the color palette is striking. It would be really interesting to see you try a few variations in scale or composition, since the idea is already so strong.
